Anyone who thinks Batesville doesn't have any great locally-owned & operated restaurants is definitely mistaken! We've eaten in this little gem for years (and have had lots catered from here, too) --- the food is always fabulous, the service is great, and the atmosphere is awesome! Most days of the week, there's a packed house for lunch, but dining is available outdoors, too. When the weather is good, the patio seating is wonderful, too ---- beautiful landscaping and lovely decor inside and out! 5 STAR!

First time stopping by for lunch a cozy place right in your face, but you must pay attention. Everything was great, and the food was flavorful . I had mac and cheese cabbage corn bread, purple hull peas, meat loaf, and strawberry cake. this was the lunch special, and you get your money worth YUMMY

Friendly and welcoming, I love the cozy environment. They have strawberry butter! What?? Delicious! I had the lunch special and it was hamburger steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, purple hull peas, and fried okra. My husband had the grilled shrimp poboy with fries.. All very delicious. I highly reccomend and will be back!
